The Penguin Random House Christian Publishing Group, including the flagship imprints of Waterbrook & Multnomah, is in growth mode and seeking a Backlist & Brand Director. We publish a diverse range of Christian authors such as John Mark Comer, Mark Batterson, Michael Todd, Jordan Lee Dooley, Jennie Allen, Manny Arango, Ashley Heatherington, Madison Prewett Troutt, Sarita Lyons, Angela Halili, Arielle Reitsma, Rich Villodas, Katie Davis Majors, Stephanie Ike Okafor, and Joni Eareckson Tada.
Reporting to the Publisher, this newly created role of Backlist & Brand Director aims to maximize opportunities with the backlist titles across six imprints at PRH Christian. Using a comprehensive 360-degree approach, this position collaborates with various departments including publishing, editorial, marketing, sales, art, and production, and develops a brand strategy for key authors. Responsibilities include liaising with authors and agents, repackaging covers, coordinating with sales on timing and promotions, and working with marketing on campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity to be deeply involved with the publishing team in a growing division.
The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000. All positions are eligible for annual profit sharing or bonuses, depending on company results.
