Nelson Enterprise Technology Services (NETS) is seeking a Background Investigations professional in the United States to conduct comprehensive interviews, review records, and document findings for timely investigative reports in support of national security initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, DCSA credentials, and willingness to travel locally. A government laptop and home office setup are provided to enable thorough investigations and detailed reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 1-2 years of progression in background investigations.
• Must have DCSA Background Investigations experience and DCSA Credentials.
• A current driver’s license and willingness to travel locally daily.
• Home office with high-speed internet and a government-provided laptop.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Completion of National Training Standards course.
• Multiple level openings based on qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face interviews with subjects and references to establish background, reputation, and suitability.
• Review records to resolve issues and verify qualifications.
• Document information and submit a detailed investigation report on time.
• Conduct efficient, accurate investigations meeting quality and production metrics.
• Support national security initiatives with steadfast program commitment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive face to face interviews with subjects, employers, associates, references, and other knowledgeable individuals and review appropriate records to obtain facts to resolve all material issues in a case or to establish the background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications of the subject under investigation

• Document all information and submit a detailed report of investigation within a strict required timeline
• Conduct efficient and accurate investigations and to meet quality, timeliness, and production metrics
• Maintain a steadfast commitment to program mission in support of national security initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 1-2 years of progressive work experience supporting background investigations
• Must have DCSA Background Investigations experience and DCSA Credentials.
• A current driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and willingness to extensively travel locally on a daily basis dependent on assignment location
• A home office equipped with high-speed internet and a cell phone; laptop provided by government customer
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, such as typing detailed, extensive, and lengthy reports
• Position requires candidates to have completed the National Training Standards course
