EMT Holdings in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking a Background Investigator to support Investigative Services. You will conduct comprehensive interviews with subjects, employers, and references, and review records to resolve material issues and establish the subject's background, reputation, or qualifications.

You will document all information received and submit a detailed report within a strict timeline. Candidates typically have a BA/BS or equivalent and at least 3 years of related experience,

Qualifications

• An impeccable work ethic, integrity, and can-do attitude.
• Ability to walk, type, sit, or stand for long periods of time.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, such as typing detailed, extensive, and lengthy reports.
• Experience conducting background investigations.
• Proven quality, timeliness, and production metrics.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a favorable determination based on a Single Scope Background Investigation.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required as driving is an essential function of this position. May use public transportation if available, and practical. Must be willing to travel locally daily dependent on assignment location.

Clearance

Favorable adjudication Top-Secret Clearance based on a T5 or Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
