Maricopa County is seeking a Background Investigations Manager to support the integrity and quality of the hiring process. You will conduct, review, and manage comprehensive background investigations of employment applicants, researching information from law enforcement databases, social networks, and other sources to ensure thorough vetting and accurate findings.

You will perform quality-control reviews, maintain Investigations Division databases, and prepare reports communicating results.

Qualifikationen

• Five years of progressively responsible administrative experience with one year in background investigations.
• Associate's degree in Administration of Justice Studies, Public or Business Administration, or closely related field.
• A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis

• Conduct, review, and manage comprehensive background investigations of employment applicants.
• Research, gather, verify, and analyze information from law enforcement and criminal databases, social networking sites, and other investigative resources to ensure applicants are thoroughly vetted.
• Perform quality-control reviews to ensure investigations meet established standards and deadlines.
• Prepare reports that communicate findings and results and maintain accurate records.
• Administer Investigations Division databases and ensure licensing and updates are current.
• Collaborate with department personnel and work independently to support efficient operations and informed hiring decisions
