Garney is seeking a Backfill Operator to join our field crew in King, NC. You will operate machinery to excavate, backfill, trench, ditch, and perform final cleanup. The role may include laborer duties as needed and requires prior construction experience.

You will work as part of a crew with an emphasis on safety, quality and efficiency. Overtime and local travel are expected, with on-site maintenance responsibilities.

Competenze

• 2–5 years of construction experience required.
• Utility work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance.
• Willing to work overtime and travel.

A Backfill Operator position is available through Garney. To be considered for this position you must have previous construction experience. As a Backfill Operator , you will operate machinery to perform activities such as excavating, backfilling, trenching, ditching, clearing, looming, fine grading, and final clean up. The Backfill Operator may perform functions of a laborer as required.
