Job summary

Garney is seeking a Backfill Operator in Indianapolis for hands-on trenching and backfilling tasks. You will operate equipment to excavate, backfill, trench, and perform final cleanup as part of a crew. Some laborer duties may be required.

The role requires construction experience (2-5 years), a solid knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance, and willingness to work overtime and travel. Benefits are offered as part of Garney’s compensation package.

A Backfill Operator position is available through Garney. To be considered for this position you must have previous construction experience. As a Backfill Operator , you will operate machinery to perform activities such as excavating, backfilling, trenching, ditching, clearing, looming, fine grading, and final clean up. The Backfill Operator may perform functions of a laborer as required.
