Описание:

We are looking for a strong, hands‑on Backend Tech Lead to join the Tangem Express team - our built‑in crypto exchange aggregator that allows users to swap cryptocurrencies directly within the Tangem Wallet. The team integrates multiple exchange providers (12+) into a unified system, ensuring users have access to reliable and seamless crypto swaps. You will lead the technical development of Tangem Express, drive architectural decisions, improve platform reliability, and provide technical leadership to a team of 4 backend engineers.

Задачи:

• Lead the technical development of Tangem Express, taking ownership of backend architecture, code quality, and technical decisions;
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations with external crypto exchange providers;
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of the aggregation platform;
• Improve the existing architecture, address technical debt, and drive scalability improvements;
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues, including failures related to external providers;
• Stay hands‑on: develop critical components, review code, and solve complex technical challenges;
• Drive technical planning, task estimation, prioritization, and backlog management;
• Drive technical alignment within the team, establish engineering best practices, and maintain high development standards.

Требования:

• Strong commercial experience in backend development with Node.js and TypeScript;
• Previous experience as a Tech Lead or Senior/Staff Backend Engineer with technical ownership of complex systems;
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design principles, patterns, and microservices;
• Experience with crypto‑related systems or transaction‑processing platforms, ideally involving crypto swaps, exchanges, or integrations with crypto service providers;
• Experience designing and integrating third‑party APIs, including handling failures, timeouts, retries, and error recovery;
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including writing and optimizing complex SQL queries without relying on an ORM;
• Experience building and optimizing high‑load, scalable, and fault‑tolerant systems;
• Solid understanding of application security and common vulnerabilities;
• Hands‑on experience with production monitoring, logging, profiling, and troubleshooting;
• Experience writing unit and end‑to‑end (E2E) tests;
• Ability to make independent technical decisions, prioritize engineering work, and guide a small development team.

• Experience with cryptocurrency exchanges, swap aggregators, or crypto wallets;
• Understanding of crypto swaps, exchange routing, and liquidity providers;
• Experience integrating APIs of centralized or decentralized exchanges (CEX/DEX).
