Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Владение архитектурой двух крупных микросервис-платформ, проектирование API контрактов.
• Интеграции с платежными провайдерами, эмуляторами карт и сторонними API, обеспечение надежности.
• Повышение производительности, кэширование, оптимизация БД, масштабируемость.
• Определение технического направления, взвешивание trade-offs, архитектурные решения.
• Разработка AI-обработок для автоматизации операций и процессов разработки.
• Поддержание React-админпанелей для внутренних команд (около 20% времени на фронтенд).
• Полный цикл features: планирование, дизайн, реализация, мониторинг и улучшение.
• Документация, код-ревью, обмен знаниями в команде, совместная работа с Product/QA.

Founded in 2019, Utorg builds infrastructure for stablecoin payments, including on- and off-ramps, self-custodial wallets, and crypto cards. Its app serves over 2 million users across 130+ countries, while its B2B payment rails support more than 2,100 platforms.

• Own backend architecture across two large-scale microservice platforms, covering system design, API contracts, data flow, and inter-service communication
• Lead complex integrations with payment providers, card issuers, blockchain networks, and third-party APIs, and take responsibility for their production reliability
• Drive performance and scalability by identifying bottlenecks, designing caching strategies, optimizing database queries, and supporting growing load
• Shape technical direction by making architectural decisions, evaluating trade-offs, and influencing engineering standards
• Build and improve AI-powered processes that automate operational and development workflows
• Maintain and extend React-based admin dashboards used by internal teams, spending approximately 20% of the time on back-office frontends
• Own features end-to-end, from planning and architectural design to implementation, testing, production monitoring, and iterative improvement
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and cross-functional teams; produce technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and share knowledge
• Take part in a shared on-call rotation, roughly one week per month
• Drive complex integrations, own architectural and technical decisions, influence the platform’s technical direction, and partially offload decision-making from the Tech Lead
• Participate in planning and architectural code reviews, propose improvements, and make architectural decisions within the assigned scope

Требования:

• 5+ Years of production backend development experience, with TypeScript/Node.js as the primary stack
• 2+ Years of production experience with NestJS, including modules, providers, middleware, guards, interceptors, and microservice architecture with custom transports
• Production blockchain experience involving on-chain transactions, multiple networks, and real user funds
• Understanding of HD wallets (BIP32/BIP39), smart contracts, ABI, ERC-20/SPL tokens, and account-based and UTXO models; experience with ethers.js, viem, and solana/web3.js
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, and Cursor in daily work, and optimizing business or organizational processes with AI/LLMs
• Deep PostgreSQL expertise, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, zero-downtime migrations, and the database-per-service pattern
• Hands-on microservices experience, including RPC and pub/sub communication, message brokers, idempotency, eventual consistency, and saga/outbox patterns
• System design experience, including service decomposition, API contracts, data flow architecture, and capacity planning; able to explain architectural decisions
• Production experience building and maintaining complex integrations with third-party APIs, payment systems, or similar external services, including retries, circuit breakers, and graceful degradation
• Performance engineering experience with profiling, caching strategies, load analysis, and bottleneck identification
• Strong testing discipline, including Jest unit tests, integration tests with real databases, and microservice testing
• Security-conscious approach to code that may handle real user funds
• Skilled in technical research, evaluating trade-offs, testing hypotheses, and making data-driven architectural decisions
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate
• Fluent in Russian
• Technically strong, with an architectural mindset and the ability to consider data flows, failure modes, and long-term maintainability
• Able to defend technical decisions and explain trade-offs to engineers and stakeholders
• Proactive problem-solver who identifies issues and proposes solutions independently
• Product-driven, focused on shipping features and solving user problems
• Self-motivated and responsible, comfortable in small teams, autonomous work, and owning the development process
