Job summary

CLEAR is seeking an experienced Software Engineer in New York City to help build the next generation of products for a networked digital identity platform. You will design, implement, test, and deploy applications, advancing capabilities across industries while prioritizing privacy and security.

In this role, you will own architecture decisions, contribute to cloud-based solutions with Java, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling, and collaborate with product teams to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend software development experience in Java
• Working with cloud-based application development and fluency in cloud tools like AWS
• Articulating technical concepts to mixed audiences and mentoring teammates

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver code across the full stack, driving engineering excellence with testing, documentation and observability
• Partner with product and stakeholders to uncover requirements and solve complex problems
• Own architectural decisions and continuously improve technology and processes at CLEAR
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship reliable, scalable services
