Job summary

Not specified is seeking a backend engineer to develop and maintain production Java/Spring Boot services for a payments platform. You will add new payment methods and deliver features, bug fixes, and reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with Java and Spring Boot in production microservices.
• Experience building GraphQL APIs with Netflix DGS or consuming APIs through the Apollo Java/Kotlin client.
• Strong JPA/Hibernate and Spring Data JPA experience with MySQL/Aurora.
• Event-driven distributed systems with AWS SQS, Apache Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• GitLab CI/CD with JaCoCo quality gates and Datadog metrics.
• Responsible use of AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
