Job summary

2Brains is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain applications and services using software engineering best practices. You will collaborate with Business Experts, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to deliver iterative value and ensure high-quality software.

In this role you will implement unit, integration, and contract tests, participate in agile ceremonies, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and deploy cloud solutions with a focus on scalability, security, and resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience developing secure REST APIs using API security best practices.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend services.
• Experience with SQL databases, modeling and efficient querying.
• Apply Design Patterns and SOLID principles.
• Version control with Git.
• Experience with automated testing to ensure stability.
• Knowledge of secure data handling throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications and services using software engineering best practices
• Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with Business Experts, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to deliver iterative value
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following quality and architecture standards
• Design and implement unit, integration, and contract tests
• Work with infrastructure and delivery teams to ensure efficient CI/CD pipelines
• Deploy cloud solutions considering scalability, security, and resilience
• Monitor production performance through metrics and alerts to resolve incidents
• Document technical solutions and share knowledge with the team
