Backend Software Engineer role focused on infrastructure platform for large-scale production systems. Build platforms, systems and services for internal and external teams to interact with production infrastructure, and tools to improve engineering productivity.

• Build platforms, systems and services for internal and external teams to interact with large-scale production systems.
• Build tools and platforms to improve engineering productivity.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
• Bring new ideas and technologies into the platform, and iterate and innovate.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, Python, or Go.
• Experience working with two or more of the following: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, networking systems, developing large software systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques.
• Experience troubleshooting in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong sense of web design and fundamentals of user experience.

Job Information

Compensation Description (Annually): The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $118,657 - $259,200 annually. Compensation may vary outside this range based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is part of the total package and may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and RSUs. Benefits may vary by location.
