BTI360 is seeking a Backend Python Software Engineer to join a high-impact team reimagining the U.S. government's terrorist screening process.

You will develop production-grade backend services, APIs, and data-driven capabilities using FastAPI and modern Python tooling, in a cloud-native, secure environment with CI/CD pipelines and rigorous testing. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders in Lean Agile, contribute to design discussions, and help deliver high-value data interfaces for

Qualifications

• Experience developing backend services in Python with modern web frameworks.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph at time of application.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience designing scalable, OOP software in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with API standards and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Build mission-critical production applications focused on data discovery and analysis.
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions.
• Leverage CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks for quality and speed.
• Design, implement, test backend services and APIs.
• Integrate with cloud services and data platforms for secure interfaces.
