Job summary

TI Solutions in India Remote is seeking a Senior Staff Backend Engineer to design, build, and lead core backend and computation services for a scalable, data‑intensive platform. You will own architecture, drive technical decisions, and mentor engineers while collaborating with Data, AI/ML, Product, QA and other teams in a multi‑cloud, multi‑tenant environment.

Expertise in Python 3, SQL, Linux, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed system design is required, with a proven track record of

Qualifications

11+ years of backend/software engineering experience.
Strong hands-on Python 3 experience.
Excellent SQL skills with relational databases and data modeling.
Strong understanding of system design, scalability, performance, and distributed systems.
Linux Administration and Bash scripting experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and own highly scalable backend and computation services.
Drive architecture and technical decisions for complex, data-intensive systems.
Build configuration-driven, reusable, and maintainable backend systems.
Design complex SQL queries, data models, and data-processing workflows.
Develop systems that are accurate, reliable, reproducible, testable, and auditable.
Design solutions for multi-tenant, multi-cloud, and customer-hosted environments.
Identify and resolve performance, scalability, reliability, and architectural challenges.
Establish and maintain high standards for code quality, testing, observability, and system reliability.
Collaborate with Data, AI/ML, Product, QA, and other engineering teams.
