Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on development, testing, and operations in a large corporate environment.
• Proficiency in Python backend development with PySpark in production.
• Experience with Databricks, module development, deployment, and support.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and ability to validate AI outputs.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile practices, CI/CD, security.

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design and troubleshoot complex problems.
• Develop secure, production-grade Python backend code and PySpark pipelines.
• Build, deploy, and support data engineering modules on Databricks.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
• Develop visualizations and reporting from large financial data sets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate finance requirements into scalable solutions.
