The role requires 5+ years in backend-focused product management, strong API/API documentation skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration with architects and engineers in a fast-paced, contract environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager focused on backend platforms, RESTful APIs, and cloud architecture.
• Ability to trace complex data flows and analyze unfamiliar architectures across enterprise codebases.
• Proven track record of cross-functional influence and driving technical alignment without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead product vision, release schedules, and backlog management for core backend platforms.
• Audit microservices, legacy APIs, and codebases to reduce technical debt and improve throughput.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Lead Engineers to translate requirements into backend architectures and data flows.
• Author technical requirements, API contracts, and detailed developer stories.
