Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer Backend/Platform Systems II to help build scalable backend systems and data infrastructure for AI-driven platforms. You will design microservices and APIs and work across teams to deliver robust analytics and cloud-native solutions.

Qualifications

• Completion within the past 3 years or current enrollment with expected completion within 12 months in a relevant program
• Proficiency in at least one backend language: C/C++, Java, or Go
• Experience designing and developing microservices and APIs
• Strong understanding of Linux and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
