Job summary

Cisco is seeking a software engineer to help build scalable backend systems and analytics platforms that power AI-driven data infrastructure. You will contribute to distributed computing initiatives, design robust APIs, and strengthen backend tooling in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Completion within the past 3 years, or current enrollment with expected completion within 12 months, of a certification or degree program or equivalent.
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language: C/C++, Java, or Go.
• Experience designing and developing microservices and APIs.
• Strong understanding of Linux and fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
