Job summary

Forman Mills is seeking a Backend Associate to support the Receiving department. You will hang and process new merchandise, maintain a clean backroom, and assist with carton handling and ticketing. The role emphasizes accurate scanning and friendly customer interactions.

Candidates should be able to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical stamina and basic math skills are essential for handling inventory and operating the POS environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong math and money handling abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Keep loading dock area clean and free of debris.
• Unload and load trucks and stage pallets for processing.
• Sort cartons by department and organize into pallets.
• Ensure processing tables have hangers and materials.
• Remove trash, compact waste and bale cardboard.
• Handle layaways: removal, organization and retrieval.
• Tag, ticket and verify merchandise against carton labels.
• Provide friendly customer service to every guest.
• Scan merchandise accurately to minimize inventory variances.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.
• Cross train on register and assist on the sales floor.
