Qualifications

abra professional services is seeking a Backend Node.js Developer.

We are looking for a skilled Backend Node.js Developer to develop and maintain backend services in a complex, event-driven Microservices architecture.

This role requires strong hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript, Microservices, Kafka/RabbitMQ, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and AI-assisted development tools.

A full-time hybrid position based in Central Israel, with 4 days a week from the office and 1 day remote.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js in an event-driven Microservices architecture.
2. Design and implement solutions for processing events from multiple systems, supporting various business processes and services.
3. Develop REST APIs and integrate between complex systems and interfaces.
4. Investigate complex technical issues and analyze logs in distributed environments.
5. Design technological solutions while collaborating with development teams, architects, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
6. Utilize AI tools throughout the development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and critically reviewing AI-generated outputs.

• Experience working with MongoDB - advantage.
• Familiarity with monitoring and log analysis tools such as Elasticsearch and Kibana - advantage.
