Job summary

VensIT Corp is seeking a Sr. NodeJS Developer with strong cloud experience to drive end-to-end software delivery. The role requires leadership, problem-solving capabilities, and hands-on expertise in Node.js and AWS cloud services.

You will work within an Agile/SCRUM environment, contribute to API design, and ensure robust unit testing and reliable deployments across AWS-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive requirements through the complete SDLC from requirements to delivery.
• Be a thought leader for the team and assist others in solving issues.
• Maintain availability for five work days per week.
• Develop with Node.js and stay current with ES specs.
• Leverage AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, etc.) and related services in solutions.
• Collaborate across DevOps and build pipelines for delivery.
• Design and implement RESTful services and NoSQL data stores.

Skills & Responsibilities

• Given the requirements, the candidate must be able to drive the requirements thru complete SDLC from requirements to delivery.


• Candidate must be proactive, self-driven, and self-motivated in solving problems.


• Be a thought leader for the team members and help other team members in solving the issues.


• Be available at work all five days.


• Expertise in Node.JS development


• Familiarity with the latest ECMA-Script specifications.


• Expertise in AWS technologies like CloudFront, SNS, SES, SQS, Cloud Formation


• Expertise in working with DevOps and the Build pipelines.


• Expertise in the development of Unit Test cases, Testing frameworks, and scripting


• Experience in building solutions using the AWS cloud platform, with technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, Kinesis, SNS, SQS, ECS, S3, and others


• Knowledge of Node.JS concepts (Such as event loop, cluster, and memory management)


• Experience working with enterprise technology platforms. Possess a strong technical background


• Strong understanding of building RESTful web services


• Strong knowledge of NoSQL databases.


• Strong experience with development methodologies such as XP, Agile, or SCRUM


• Exposure to various technologies, including enterprise application integration, database design and configuration, web applications, operating platforms, security, and networking.


• Develop unit tests during the development process.


• Ability to drive design/architectural path


• Demonstrate strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills
