Job summary

BairesDev is hiring a Backend JavaScript Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance server-side applications using Node.js and TypeScript. You will architect secure REST and GraphQL APIs to support front-end apps and third-party integrations, and develop event-driven services to ensure responsive, scalable systems.

Expect to deploy on cloud platforms like AWS Lambda/ECS, optimize PostgreSQL or MongoDB data models, and uphold code quality with Jest or Vitest tests.

Backend JavaScript Engineer at BairesDev

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance server-side applications using Node.js and TypeScript.


• Architect and implement secure REST and GraphQL APIs to support front-end applications and third-party integrations.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Backend Engineering, focusing on Node.js and TypeScript.


• Proven expertise in designing and shipping REST and GraphQL APIs.


• Hands‑on experience with asynchronous programming patterns and event-driven services.


• Proficiency in working with databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.


• Solid understanding of deploying and managing services on AWS Lambda or ECS.


• Advanced proficiency in English.
