BairesDev is seeking a Backend Engineer specializing in Node.js and JavaScript to join our fully remote global team. You will work on data-intensive applications, API design, and scalable services with hands-on development and measurable impact across projects.

We require 8+ years in software engineering, strong JS backend skills, and solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and asynchronous programming.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript for backend development (Node.js).
• Deep understanding of data structures (arrays, objects, maps, sets, trees, graphs) and how to manipulate them in JavaScript.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms including sorting, searching, traversal, and optimization techniques.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience with asynchronous programming patterns in JavaScript.
• Advanced level of English.
