Job summary

Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Software Engineer who enjoys building scalable backend systems with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices to advance the Concerto MR platform in an Agile environment.

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, collaborate with product owners, engineers, and QA, and contribute to CI/CD, reliability, and performance in a healthcare-adjacent software setting in Waukesha, WI.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java development experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience with RESTful API design and cloud-native applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in healthcare/regulated software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for the Concerto MR platform.
• Build and enhance Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs and integrations.
• Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and QA to deliver solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and design activities.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.
• Contribute to CI/CD, reliability, and software quality improvements.
• Identify and implement backend best practices and system integration.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
