Job summary

The Codest is seeking a skilled backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable services using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot. You will work on microservices, APIs, and data layers, collaborating with PMs, UX designers, and engineers to deliver robust software solutions.

You will contribute to architecture decisions, optimize performance, and occasionally extend to web or mobile tasks as needed, leveraging AI-assisted coding tools to improve development velocity.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Kotlin and Java experience.
• Proficient in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience designing and consuming scalable backend APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot.
