Job summary

U.S. Bank in Hopkins, MN is seeking Software Engineer (multiple positions) to design, develop, and maintain backend services and build REST-based microservices using Java 8 and Spring Boot.

You will implement messaging with Kafka, contribute to secure, high-performance solutions, apply DevOps practices with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes, and mentor junior engineers while guiding design decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering with backend and microservices experience.
• Experience with Java 8, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and containerization (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities
