Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant to join the Financial Services unit in the U.S. You will engage in requirement gathering, design discussions, and hands-on software development using Java, Spring Boot, and REST Web services.

You’ll participate in testing, debugging, and integrating new features while ensuring quality and maintainability across banking, wealth management, and insurance projects. The role requires experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, OpenShift, SQL

Qualifications

• Experience in software development using Java, Spring Boot and REST Web services.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; will consider 3 years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
• Willingness to relocate and travel to work/project location; authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and aid in process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications per design specifications.
• Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to enhance software performance.
• Support integration of new software features and smooth transitions within the system.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications and document maintenance procedures.
