Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable systems and data integrations. You will implement MuleSoft/Boiling integration patterns, build serverless Azure Functions, and optimize database schemas in PostgreSQL and Snowflake for data warehousing needs.

You will collaborate with frontend and operations teams, implement CI/CD pipelines, and communicate complex concepts to stakeholders. 0-10% travel, hybrid opportunities may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable React.js, Next.js, or other modern UI framework applications.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and RESTful APIs design/implementation.
• Experience with PostgreSQL schema design, indexing, query optimization, and database administration.
• Familiarity with SQL Server is a plus.
• Knowledge of Azure App Service, Web App deployment, configuration, scaling strategies, and Azure Functions.
• Experience with Azure Event Hub for data ingestion and event streaming architectures.
• Experience designing and implementing integration solutions across multiple systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with MuleSoft API development, orchestration, and connector configuration.
• Familiarity with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Data Cloud, and AgentForce.
• Experience with Snowflake data modeling, dynamic table design, and modern warehousing use cases.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with GraphQL, OAuth, JWT, and serverless compute using Azure services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and web applications.
• Design and develop integrations between diverse systems using MuleSoft and Boomi.
• Build, deploy, and maintain Azure Functions for serverless computing solutions.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, JavaScript, and PowerShell.
• Work with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, OAuth, and JWT.
• Design Snowflake schema models to support data warehousing needs.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases.
• Support DevOps initiatives, including development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate across teams and departments to deliver complex projects.
• Communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
