Job summary

URBN's Nuuly is seeking an engineer to mature its platform into a stable, scalable backbone for the next wave of innovations. You will work on JVM-based services using Kotlin, Spring, and Micronaut, and design Kubernetes deployments that integrate with Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.

You will lead design discussions, mentor teammates, and collaborate with product and QA to deliver end-to-end features, testing, and documentation, while quickly assimilating new tech in a fast-paced creative

Qualifications

• 4+ years of server-side development experience in a team setting.
• Proficiency with JVM languages (Kotlin/Java/Scala) and OO design.
• Understanding of streaming data, distributed systems, and messaging patterns.
• Experience with testing and test-driven development.
• Ability to ramp quickly in an existing codebase and drive solutions in leadership discussions.
• Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Engage in discussions and decision making for new features and platform evolution.
• Collaborate with the product team to design solutions for stakeholder features.
• Deliver the full lifecycle of deployable features: code, configuration, docs, and support.
• Contribute to roadmaps and processes to deliver features and evolve architecture.
• Collaborate with QA & Product teams to test code and keep environments unblocked.
