Job summary

ERGO NEXT is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join our distributed cloud platform. You will collaborate with product, marketing, and frontend engineers to rapidly iterate on features, design robust services, and push reliable code through a fast CI/CD pipeline ensuring production quality and observability.

Required: 4+ years of backend experience in Java or Kotlin (or similar), a B.Sc. in Computer Science, strong OOP, and experience with relational databases like SQL.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of proven experience in Backend development.
• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of OOP concepts and best practices.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Cloud experience with AWS is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, marketing, and front-end engineers to iterate on the product.
• Own features from inception through design and code, delivering production-ready code.
