You will test, debug, and optimize for high availability, performance, and cost. You’ll drive features from conception through production, embracing best practices and ownership.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent years of experience.
• 1+ years of post-Bachelor’s software development experience; or MS in a technical field.
• Experience with backend services or distributed systems.
• Ability to deliver medium-sized features over weeks with multiple PRs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate critical scalable services - including identity, friend graph, and core persistence layers.
• Collaborate across teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Test, debug, and ensure high quality; advocate for availability, scalability, and cost management.
• Participate in incident or hotfix investigations and resolutions.
