Job summary

Stripe is seeking an experienced backend engineer to join the Revenue and Financial Automation (RFA) team. You will design, build, test, and ship backend features that power Stripe Billing and related revenue operations.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, security, design, and operations to deliver scalable, reliable systems for customers worldwide, mentor engineers, and tackle production issues across services.

Qualifications

• 5–12+ years of backend or platform software development.
• Proficient in Go, Java, or C/C++.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong collaboration and ability to work across teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with autonomy and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design the next generation of Stripe products to meet the high‑growth needs of our company and customers.
