Job summary

Zoom is seeking a backend engineer to help build and scale API infrastructure, data models, and core services that power our AI GTM platform. You will own large backend projects, write clean, testable code, and collaborate across AWS, Postgres, and Node.js stacks to deliver reliable systems.

You will contribute to observability, SLAs, and scalability while working in a structured hybrid environment that supports remote and in-office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with AWS, Postgres, and Node.js.
• Proficiency with TypeGraphQL, Apollo/Express, and Postgres on RDS.
• Front-end knowledge with React and AWS infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Developing infrastructure, data models, features, and the overall system to build APIs and maintain the codebase.
• Writing well-designed, testable code, ensuring systems are efficient, optimized, scalable, and reliable.
• Developing software testing and validation procedures and documentation.
• Ensuring core internal capabilities, infrastructure, and ML systems serve customer and team needs.
• Analyzing problems and designing simple, scalable solutions with observability and SLA in mind.
