Job summary

Feedzai seeks an experienced Software Engineer to join our Engineering team and help build Feedzai’s Risk Engine, a core component used across fraud prevention products. You will develop Java backend services, design scalable, high-performance systems, and own end-to-end delivery in a cloud-native SaaS context.

You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values automation, observability, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building Java backend software
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong coding skills and CS fundamentals
• Experience in high-performance, concurrent server-side code
• Experience designing modern web applications and distributed systems
• Contributions to OSS projects
• Able to work autonomously and bring ideas to the team

Responsibilities

• Be hands-on, executing the full software development life cycle
• Write reusable, testable code and participate in code reviews
• Contribute to best practices and guidelines for software development
• Contribute to Feedzai's cloud-native SaaS strategy
• Engage in recruiting activities to attract top talent
• Provide production support and client improvements
• Work in agile teams to develop products and frameworks
• Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 reliability
