Job summary

VibeIQ, LLC is seeking a backend engineer to join the Implementation Engine team. You will help build tooling powering customer onboarding and implementation on our platform, collaborating with product managers and engineers to design scalable systems.

The role emphasizes rapid iteration, end-to-end ownership, and ongoing improvements to reliability, scalability, and security across the stack.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend or full-stack engineering in cloud environments.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Architect scalable, maintainable backend systems (Node.js/TypeScript).
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration across stakeholders.
• Ability to ramp quickly in unfamiliar technical domains.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship tooling that make customer implementation faster and cheaper.
• Work in tight iteration loops with the Product Manager from idea to shipped software.
• Drive quality, reliability, and scalability improvements across infrastructure.
• Own features end-to-end from design through deployment and monitoring.
• Uphold and evolve our software engineering standards (CI/CD, security).
• Collaborate with teams across VibeIQ to improve product, architecture, and practices.
