Job summary

Skyflow is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to build a state-of-the-art SaaS data control layer. You will design Privacy APIs, ensure low-latency and high-throughput transactions, and drive code quality, security, testing, and documentation across services.

You will partner with teams to deliver robust architectures that integrate with external data platforms and services. The role emphasizes API design, distributed systems, and scalable backend design.

Qualifications

• Proficient in multiple programming languages (Go, Java, C, C++, Python).
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience in performance engineering: high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• Familiarity with data systems (BigQuery, Snowflake, Kafka).
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, scalability, and distributed systems.
• Security best practices and RESTful design.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Privacy APIs and backend infrastructure for large-scale data workflows.
• Own integration with third-party and internal data platforms (data warehouses, REST/GraphQL services, message queues).
• Ensure system reliability, performance and maintainability.
• Contribute to performance engineering for low-latency, high-throughput transactions.
• Implement effective test strategies and develop software with high agility and zero downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and infrastructure teams.
