Job summary

Tower Loan in Flowood, MS is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in .NET Core / C#. You will modernize legacy applications, build microservices, and integrate internal and third-party platforms to support core business processes.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, work on SQL Server schemas, and apply secure, compliant coding practices while participating in CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and front-end work with Blazor.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required.
Minimum 3+ years of professional .NET Core / C# development experience.
Experience with SQL Server (DDL, indexing, views) required.
Experience integrating third-party APIs and building internal SDKs.
Understanding of DDD and clean architecture principles.
Front-end experience with Blazor or React preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in .NET Core / C# as part of microservices.
Refactor legacy monoliths into modern APIs with minimal business disruption.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams on services supporting core workflows.
Develop and manage SQL Server schemas, stored procedures, and views.
Implement event-driven patterns (Kafka) for reliable async processing.
Participate in CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and deployment scripting.
Work with Blazor front-ends to deliver modern user experiences.
Ensure security, privacy, and regulatory compliance; contribute to docs.
