Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional backend software engineering experience with meaningful ownership
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET as the primary stack
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs consumed by web and mobile clients
• Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL Server preferred
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD practices, and modern deployment
• Ability to work independently and own features from design through delivery
• Strong communication skills to explain technical decisions clearly to engineers and non-engineers alike

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET
• Own backend features end to end from design through deployment and production support
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver integrated features
• Write clean, well-documented code with focus on reliability and maintainability
• Participate in code reviews and provide/receive feedback thoughtfully
• Contribute to architectural discussions and define technical direction
• Identify performance bottlenecks, scalability concerns, and technical debt
• Support observability, logging, monitoring, and alerting across services you own
