Job summary

Govserviceshub is seeking a Backend Engineer to join a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will help build scalable, secure, and high-performant systems with strong backend depth in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.

The role emphasizes observability, monitoring, and reliability, along with collaboration across Payments and Commerce teams to deliver production-grade web applications.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in computer science or related field.
• Experience building and operating production-grade web applications.
• Strong fundamentals in CS, data structures, algorithms, and large-scale system design.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud-native and distributed systems.
• Experience with observability/monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk).
• Experience with databases (DynamoDB or SQL/NoSQL) including schema design and query optimization.

Responsibilities

What You Need to Succeed
