Chainalysis is seeking a Software Engineer II for Compliance Core to build and maintain backend services powering real-time blockchain risk evaluation and monitoring. You will own scoped features, work on distributed systems, and contribute to safe rollouts alongside Product and engineering partners.

You’ll engage in designing data processing pipelines, improving tests, and ensuring platform reliability while aligning with the company’s mission to provide trusted blockchain intelligence.

Qualificações

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency and verify AI outputs.
• Experience building and maintaining backend services in production, including APIs and database integrations.
• Proficiency in an object-oriented language; strong Java experience.
• Experience developing cloud-based services on AWS and understanding of microservices.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs that support transfer and withdrawal screening, continuous monitoring, and risk aggregation.
• Develop event-driven data ingestion and processing systems that handle growing blockchain activity with a focus on correctness, throughput, and latency.
• Own scoped features from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support with guidance on architecture decisions.
• Contribute to platform modernization with incremental migrations and safe rollouts.
• Collaborate with Product and partner engineering teams to clarify requirements and deliver changes that address customer needs.
• Improve automated tests, monitoring, and documentation to help the team understand system behavior and detect problems early.
• Participate in code reviews, debug production issues, and contribute to incident response and blameless postmortems.
