Pinterest in Seattle, WA is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to build scalable, Pinner-facing features and accelerate AI-driven product development. You will collaborate with product, design, data science, and backend teams to deliver robust, high-quality systems.

You should have strong experience with distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and at least one language such as Python, Java, C++, or Go. Equity and flexible hybrid work are included.

• Contribute to and lead each step of the product development process from ideation to release.
• Partner with design, product, and backend teams to build end-to-end functionality.
• Put on your Pinner hat to suggest new product ideas and features.
• Employ automated testing to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
