Job summary

LlamaIndex is hiring a backend engineer with 4+ years of experience to build and scale our ingestion and AI systems from the ground up. The role offers a hybrid-friendly culture based out of our downtown San Francisco office.

You will work on core APIs using Python/Node.js, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Postgres, collaborating closely with customers to deliver production solutions while shaping the product roadmap for scalable backend capabilities.

Qualifications

• Shipping new product features from scratch.
• Experience with AI/LLM-native applications.
• Rapid iteration with customers or engineers to shape the roadmap.
• Scaled applications in production.
