Job summary

GRID is seeking a software engineer to build greenfield, mission-critical services in a fast-paced startup environment. You will help shape GRID's technology landscape, participate in architectural discussions, and work closely with product stakeholders to communicate progress and trade-offs.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of commercial experience with Kotlin or Go, strong API design skills (REST/GraphQL), and familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial software development experience.
• Deep knowledge of a strongly typed language (Kotlin or Go).
• Explicit (nullable) types and strong, minimal contracts.
• Good API design with REST/GraphQL.
• Experience with microservice architecture and container/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiar with JIRA, Agile and Scrum practices.
• Good communication skills, especially with remote teams.
• Ability to work in CET time zone.
