Job summary

Grid Dynamics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build high-performance Go-based services. You will collaborate with a global team to shape scalable architectures and deliver robust software across the development lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have strong Golang experience, Java or Python as backups, and a solid background with CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, REST APIs, and testing. Expect an on-site office environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Production experience with Go/Golang (ideally) or Java/Python.
• Experience with CI/CD platform engineering, Terraform, Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API conventions and distributed architecture.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).
• Robust OO programming and OO design concepts knowledge.
• Basic understanding of algorithms, Big-O notation and complexity considerations.
• Strong unit/integration testing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Participate in the design and development of high-performance business applications, from requirements analysis to production
• Constantly improve software quality (evaluate and incorporate new libraries, tools, and technologies; code reviews; refactoring; testing; etc.)
• Analyze and improve application performance
• Search for simple and robust solutions to complex tasks
• Work in an Agile methodology environment where innovation, teamwork, and creativity are the key to success
• Collaborate with a team of developers, QA engineers and analysts

Requirements

• Production experience with Golang (ideally), Java or Python

• Robust OO Programming and OO Design concepts knowledge
