Job summary

Quindar, a small, fast-moving team building cloud-native satellite mission operations software, invites a backend developer to craft Python services and scalable APIs across AWS. You will connect to hundreds of satellites as reliable servers, focusing on security, cost, and performance.

You'll implement APIs, integrate with Lambda, ECS, EKS, S3 and RDS, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• 3+ years professional backend/full-stack development experience.
• U.S. Person status required – we are not able to sponsor visas at this time.
• Must have active U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend software using Python and AWS services with focus on scalability and performance.
• Build and maintain APIs and integrate with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Fargate, EKS).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Contribute to backend, AI integrations, DevSecOps, and CI/CD tooling and software architecture.
