Notability in San Francisco is seeking an early-career software engineer to join our backend team. You will own core features across our backend, work with API requests, databases, and scalability, and ship stable, readable code for Notability's clients.

Qualifications

• Shipped real projects, professionally or personally.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Own core features across the backend system, including API interactions and database queries.
• Ship stable, readable, and well-tested code for Notability's services.
• Communicate clearly and proactively in writing and in conversations; provide crisp problem statements.
• Drive work to completion: navigate ambiguity, incorporate feedback, and handle edge cases.
• Explore unfamiliar areas to solve challenging problems while maintaining quality.
• Respect collaborators' ideas, victories, and time; take feedback constructively.
