Job summary

Notion is hiring a Developer Platform engineer to build tools, APIs, and platform experiences that connect Notion to the world. You will enable developers, admins, and builders to create reliable integrations and automations on top of Notion.

You will contribute to a robust technical foundation and work on internal platform contributions as well as user-facing functionality. This role is based in San Francisco or New York City with in-person collaboration on Anchor Days.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience shipping production software.
• Fluency with TypeScript across back end and front end.
• Strong product instincts to scope and de-risk problems.
• Curiosity and willingness to adopt AI tools to improve work.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy and drive execution from conception to maintenance.
• Evolve Developer Platform capabilities across APIs, MCP tools, and integration infrastructure.
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of Notion platform.
• Partner with engineering leaders to enable long-term flexibility and sustainability of core systems.
