LlamaIndex, Inc. is seeking an experienced backend engineer to build and scale features across our ingestion and AI systems from San Francisco. You will work on core APIs and collaborate with customers to deliver production-grade solutions in a fast-growing AI startup.

The role emphasizes shipping end-to-end features, working with Python/Node.js tech stack, and contributing to an AI-native product roadmap in a hybrid SF office environment.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping completely new product features from scratch.
• Shipped or otherwise interested in AI/LLM-native applications.
• Iterated rapidly with customers or other engineers - translate user feedback into features back to proactive user discovery.
• Shipped applications at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build out new features and scale our backend capabilities focused on scaling out our core APIs.
• Work closely with prospects and customers to build production solutions.
