Job summary

Alkami Technology, Inc. is hiring for a backend engineer focused on building scalable services that power our Activations squad. You will write clean, well-documented code, handle error scenarios, and ensure robust logging and monitoring across microservices.

You will work with clients and the product team to translate onboarding requirements into reliable API integrations, while contributing to system design and long-term maintainability in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building backend services and APIs.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with NodeJS and REST-based microservices.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the activation pipeline by integrating with client core-provider APIs.
• Improve third-party integrations (e.g., payments, onboarding flows) and service reliability.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate client onboarding nuances into scalable solutions.
