Job summary

Alkami is hiring an Engineering Manager for Activations to lead a team delivering client go-live workflows, core provider API integrations, and third-party service connections. You will balance hands-on coding with architectural leadership in a hybrid US-based role.

You’ll partner with Product Management to translate requirements into actionable technical plans, mentoring engineers and shaping scalable solutions with a bias for execution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on technical foundation.
• 2+ years in a technology leadership role leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Activations engineering team for client go-live, API integrations, and third-party services.
• Set roadmap direction and align priorities with organizational goals.
• Coach engineers through feedback and technical guidance.
• Contribute production-grade code when needed to move complex problems forward.
• Review code and designs to ensure quality, maintainability, and scalability.
• Partner with Product Management to translate requirements into technical plans.
